Kansas City Delta Gamma members do good in our community from supporting the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired and Alphapointe for volunteering at area events. Our Foundation fosters lifetime enrichment for members, promotes Service for Sight and local partnerships to make a difference.

Our 2025-2026 GKC fundraising goal is to raise $26,000. From July 2025 to February 2026, we have raised nearly $6,000. We have done this through:

Individual donations throughout our fiscal year (July 2025-June 2026)
Donations in conjunction with our annual Holiday Brunch in December
Volunteering at Christmas in the Park
Playing January Blizzard Bingo games

If you are unable to attend our Trivia Fundraiser in May 2026 or you haven't donated to this year's fundraising campaign, please consider donating now. Your generous gift benefits Children's Center for the Visually Impaired, Alphapointe, and the Delta Gamma Foundation.

Donations will be used for Adventure Camp (at Heartland Park in Parkville), Functional Vision Evaluation Kits for CCVI staff to use with each new child they assess throughout Kansas City, and more. Here are some typical costs for needed services and programs:

$25 buys a Braille book
$75 covers the cost of the Functional Vision Evaluation Kit for one child
$95 provides one hour of Braille instruction at Alphapointe
$250 for an orientation & mobility session with CCVI specialists
$1200 is the cost to send one child to an overnight youth Adventure Camp in Parkville, parents only need to pay $275 of that cost
